Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

No, I’m a private-pay provider. This allows me to offer personalized, flexible care without the limitations and delays that often come with insurance - like visit caps, pre-authorizations, and paperwork.

What happens during a typical session?

Every session is tailored to your unique goals. This may include stretching, strength training, balance work, therapeutic movement, fall prevention, restorative touch, breathwork, mindfulness, or functional mobility training - all depending on what your body needs that day.

Do I need a referral from a doctor?

Nope! You don’t need a prescription or referral to get started. You can book a free consultation directly through my site.

What areas do you serve?

I provide in-home care in Cincinnati, Blue Ash, Montgomery, Mason, and surrounding areas. If you’re outside this range, feel free to reach out and ask - I may still be able to accommodate you.

Can you work alongside my doctor, physical therapist, or chiropractor?

Absolutely. With your permission, I’m happy to coordinate care or communicate with your existing providers to make sure everyone’s on the same page and working toward your wellness goals.

What if I only want a few sessions?

That’s totally okay. There’s no long-term contract or commitment required. Whether you want a one time check-in, seasonal wellness support, or ongoing movement sessions, we’ll build something that works for you.

How is this different from traditional home health therapy?

Traditional home health therapy is typically short-term, task-focused, and covered by Medicare or insurance. It requires a doctor's order and is often limited to very specific goals, like getting up from a chair or walking 50 feet. These services usually stop once you meet those goals, whether you feel ready or not.

My approach is different.

I focus on longer-term, whole-person wellness - helping you build strength, balance, confidence, and independence at your own pace. I don’t need a referral, I don’t bill insurance, and I’m not bound by what’s “medically necessary.” That means I can truly meet you where you are and stay with you as long as needed.

Can you work with people who have dementia or cognitive challenges?

Yes. I meet each client where they are with gentle, compassionate support and proven strategies to promote movement, safety, and calm.

Do you bring equipment?

Yes! I bring portable, senior-friendly tools (resistance bands, light weights, cushions, etc.) and can also help you use items already in your home.

How long are the sessions?

Most in-home sessions last 60 minutes, though this can be adjusted based on your goals and energy levels.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept credit cards, debit cards, checks, Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. If you have questions about your payment method, feel free to reach out!

What is your cancellation policy?

I totally understand that things come up especially when it comes to health or caregiving. If you need to cancel or reschedule, I simply ask for as much notice as possible (ideally 24 hours) so I can adjust my schedule. I’m always happy to be flexible in cases of illness or unexpected changes - just keep me in the loop, and we’ll work together to find a new time that works for you.

What sets you apart from other providers?

I bring over 15 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, but what truly sets me apart is my heart forward, whole-person approach. My sessions are personal, not rushed. I meet each client where they are, with compassion, encouragement, and skilled support that blends movement, mindfulness, and hands on care. This isn’t just about exercises, it’s about helping you feel confident, capable, and cared for in the comfort of your own home.
